HID Global's SIO Technology-enabled cards for MIFARE® DESFire® EV1 and HITAG provide customers with the benefits of HITAG1 technology and the convenience of combining an SIO solution for MIFARE® DESFire® EV1 on a single card.
The multi-technology solution is ideal for organizations moving from basic HITAG1 to MIFARE® DESFire® EV1 or seeking a one-card solution that supports both technologies.
The cards are designed to provide seamless migration to HID Global's iCLASS SE® platform for an interoperable, future-proof solution that delivers increased performance. The iCLASS SE platform goes beyond the traditional smart card model to offer technology-independent credentials based on Secure Identity Object® (SIO®) for higher security and adaptability.
As with all genuine HID products, the multi-technology cards with MIFARE® DESFire® EV1 and HITAG are part of the broadest product line of trusted, fully interoperable secure identity solutions and provide guaranteed interoperability with HID Global readers.
