One of the more interesting and eye-catching articles in my inbox today was one about Boeing and no, it is not about an airplane, in fact it is about a Smartphone. They recently unveiled their new Boeing Black Smartphone, and it is not just any kind of Smartphone, but a super secure one.

The phone is designed for the US defense and security community and has a bunch of security features that will make you think it was taken straight out of a spy movie. Upon trying to open the casing the Smartphone will delete all data and leave it inoperable, pretty cool if you ask me. It also has encrypted calls and uses two SIM cards to enable it to access multiple cell networks.

They haven’t released a lot of details about it for security reasons, but we do know a few things. It runs on Google’s Android™ operating system, can operate on both WCDMA, GSM and LTE frequency bands, offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. More information can be found on their Website.
